BOUGHT THIS TO GO IN MY 24" 2.4 GHz INTEL CORE 2 DUO iMAC WHICH ONLY SHIPPED WITH 1GB. I USE ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 3 ALL THE TIME AND RUNNING TWO PROGRAMS AT THE SAME TIME WOULD SLOW THE COMPUTER UP QUITE A BIT. THIS HAS TOTALLY CHANGED THAT. I'M NOW RUNNING 3GB OF RAM (1GB OF ORIGINAL RAM) WHICH HANDLES MULTIPLE PROGRAMS AT THE SAME TIME WITH EASE. PROGRAMS LOAD ALOT QUICKER AND RENDER EFFECTS SO MUCH FASTER. I actually bought this before my new iMac arrived, so it went in straight away. Installation is easy enough, and OS X had no trouble detecting it. My only worry with cheap memory like this, is how long it will last before things start going funny. Well, two months in and its all working fine and I'm always running Logic pro 8 so its not as if its not getting used.
Pleasantly surprised, so far.
