My old machine is running out of memory- so I thought a memory pen would be the answer. Doh!!!This device is fine if you have XP2000 or better, but requires driver support for Windows 98. This has to be downloaded- and to do that you need winzip- at a cost of 26 quid. Add the ten hours I spent trying todownload software, plus the abortive attempts-to install. The people on the helpline are not too clued up either.

Rating:  - Great USB pen drive
This is the best style of USB pen drive I've used (and I've used lots). The high quality memory is provided by Samsung, and carries more than the standard one year warranty. The main attraction is its size. It is very neat and light, with a simple secure cover for the top. A hole at the base allows for a carry strap (not included).
Highly recommended in any capactiy.

This is an extremely small flash drive, it is the smallest I've ever seen. It is tight and looks cool. The one I got is silver grey rather than the blue in the photo. I think that was a bargain looking at prices from other makers, especially that it says that it is made by SamSung. I recommend it for everyone...
Rating: - Good Product, Can be Faulty
These pen drives are of a fairly generic kind. Mass produced, you can buy them in several different colours and with many different brandings on the front. They are designed to have a neck strap through one end.
This version doesn't supply the strap, but does include a useful USB extension cable that can be used for any USB device.
The pen drive itself is good, it was instantly recognised by both my PC and Mac, and didn't require any formatting or other special care.

I have bought two of these. Both of them are grey rather than dark blue/black as the picture showed above.
Good built, feel solid. The thickness of the plastic at the cap is measured at appox. 1mm thick, not sure if it is the same throughout the whole enclosure. The cap fits tide to the drive.
On the box, it said the flash drive is "made in Korea, manufactured by Samsung", however on the drive is saying "made in Taiwan". I think what they meant is the memory chip is manufactured ... Read More
